LITTLE OBSESSIONS began as an experimental art zine rooted in old-school ephemera and physical media. Since launching in 2020, it’s evolved into a platform for maximalist design, visual storytelling, and community-building through published works, events, and collaborations.
The zine has run thirty issues to date, each one a handmade capsule of inspiration—celebrating weirdos in music, film, and art through interviews, collage, original photography, and mail art. It blends personal narrative with editorial curation.
As the zine gained momentum, a global community formed around it. I’ve expanded the zine’s ethos into immersive, sold-out events in Portland including the Freak Freely Festival (2022), Can’t See What’s Mine (2023), and A Night With The Space Lady (2024). Through LITTLE OBSESSIONS, I art directed a mixtape series, hosted a radio show on Freeform Portland, and launched merch collections featuring original shirt designs, enamel pins, and prints.
